The Higher Education Commission (HEC), under the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme, will distribute about 100,000 laptops during Phase IV and V to students at public-sector universities and universities that award degrees.
According to reports from HEC earlier on, the deadline for applying for laptops is September 30. The initial version of the laptops scheme was launched in 2021-22, and it was decided to provide 100,000 laptops per year of the GovernmentGovernment.
Since it was the year that ended the current GovernmentGovernment, it was taken to distribute the remaining laptops worth 200,000 by 2022-23.
At present, the administration has decided to hand out 200,000 laptops over the final year of its administration to meet the goal of 500,000 laptops within four years. The laptops were initially distributed to public sector colleges and universities. Later technical colleges, colleges, and colleges were also added to the scheme.

PM Laptop Scheme 2022 for Matric students:
The Government of Punjab decided to give laptops to the students who passed the year 2021 of their enrollment. The PM Laptop Scheme is currently working and giving laptops at various universities and colleges. One hundred thousand Matric Pass students will be provided with Laptops beginning in February 2021., according to the latest announcement from the Punjab Government, according to this scheme, students who score less than 78 percent marks will also receive laptops under the PM Laptop Scheme. The Yousaf Abbasi government already provides laptops to matric students graduating in 2021. The laptops will be given to students who have passed matric students in 2020.
