Introduction

Technology is becoming more advanced and it’s not difficult to imagine the future. We have already seen that in 2022, there will be new technologies which will change our lives. New technology like Augmented Reality, 5G Network, Bio-metrics, E-sim Card and Internet of Things (IoT) are going to release in 2022.

Augmented Reality

Augmented reality (AR), also known as mixed reality, is a technology that digitally enhances the real-world environment. The most common implementations of AR are “heads-up displays” which project key information onto a user’s field of vision and use cameras to track people’s motion. A good example is Google Glass, which projects information like directions and text messages into your eyeline so you can see them without looking down at your phone or tablet.

5G Network

The fifth generation of cellular network is the new generation of cellular network with high speed and low latency.

5G will be available in 2022, when 5G network becomes available, you can experience faster internet connection than 4G network.

Bio-metrics

Bio-metrics is a technology that uses a person’s unique biological traits to identify them. It is based on the analysis of human characteristics, and includes fingerprints, palm prints, hand geometry, iris patterns and facial recognition. The main advantage of this technology is that it allows for easy identification even if the user cannot remember or has forgotten their pin code/password. There are some disadvantages with bio-metrics though: if you lose your finger or toe you can’t get in (however you could use your face or eyes as backup).

E-sim Card

An E-SIM, or electronic SIM card, is a new technology that will release in 2022 and replace the physical sim card. It is a chip which will be inserted into your device and used for multiple things including mobile payments and mobile banking.

Internet of Things (IoT)

The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network that connects all physical objects to the internet. IoT has been around for several years now, but it has recently become more popular due to the power of cloud computing. In 2022, we’ll see more companies offering IoT solutions and a greater use of this technology by consumers.
